Gas relay is a kind of protective device used in oil-immersed transformer. The gas relay is installed on the connecting pipe between the transformer cover and the oil tank, and can be installed with the air guide pipe to realize the ground exhaust and sampling. When the internal fault of transformer causes gas or oil flow impulse in oil tapping, the relay's contact action is made to connect the designated control circuit and send out signals in time or automatically cut off the transformer.
